Floor plans and finishes are the decision make or breaker. When I see a home with a lot of very small bedrooms and I do not have small children, I know that home is not for me. When the finishes are the very basic even cheap, I am not going to buy that product. It was not easy finding a home in Avondale even though that my target community, because I could not find the floor plans and finishes I wanted. The realtor would tell me to look in another community for those things, but I wanted Avondale. Finally I found a place that at least had better finishes even if the floor plan was not ideal. There needs to be more variety of product in the market place, not just the same product repeated over and over. The SF Guidelines focus on the exterior, which is important in attracting residents to the community. But sales are often made based on the interior finishes and floor plans.
